Many thanks for the copy of The Great Controversy which I received yesterday. I have hardly been able to put it down. I find that I truly need some guidance so to this end will you kindly enrol me into the correspondence course – Truth for Today.. My eyes have certainly been opened in the last 24 hours or so since beginning to read The Great Controversy - I am finding it difficult not to get carried away. I am just writing to say how much I have enjoyed reading The Great Controversy. My friend told me about it and everything she has said about the book is true.

I was brought up with the Catholic faith but when I was old enough to please myself I just turned away completely. All my life I always felt (even when I was very young) that things weren’t right. But now at the age of 55 I am a born again Christian and your book has helped me realise that I was right. I also realise that I’ve never really turned away from God (just man). Thank you.

I’m writing this letter (e-mail) to thank you for The Great Controversy. It really made me understand the Bible and its prophecies more and I believe them. If you can manage please send me even a box of different books like Steps to Christ. So far I am sharing The Great Controversy with my friends. Subsequently I received unexpectedly a copy of Steps to Christ by Ellen G White which I have found a precious work, through which the Holy Spirit clearly speaks. I wonder if you would be kind enough to send me three copies of that booklet for which I enclose £10 cheque so that certain others may share. Who is/was Ellen White? With what Christian group is your mission associated.
